AN ARTISTIC PROFILE = A MOTOR + A MEANS

The methodology used for analyzing artistic processes in 700 Artists' Processes reveals that these can be classified into families of concerns –  Motors – and families of materialisation – the Means.

An artistic process is thus  defined as the unique combination of a Motor and a Means, whose expression, codified in both textual and numerical forms, constitutes an artistic profile.

Two artists sharing the same artistic profile distinguish themselves through their artistic singularity. The identification of this singularity requires a more detailed analysis than that presented on the site. Such an in-depth analysis is available upon request to explore the artistic uniqueness beyond the general profiles presented on the site.
